What is a venture studio?
The Venture Studio works together with non-technical leaders to productise and launch their ideas, not only providing support and resources but also working hands on to deliver a product. This model allows founders who do not have previous experience in leading development projects to benefit from the Studio’s experience, while bringing on their own unique set of skills and expertise to the table.
What Go To Merket and funding models do we work with?
We believe the most sustainable course for an impact organisation is to develop its own sources of income, to drive growth independently of philanthropy in the long run. This does not mean initial support cannot come from donors or sponsors, however, the end goal of our founders should be to build a mix of income sources and capture commercial go-to-market opportunities in the mid and long term.
How is the Builder Network supporting the Studio?
Our builders are experienced professionals who want to work hands on to support our founders. They could be product managers, UX designers and developers, GTM strategists, fundraising specialists or connectors. Each will have their own unique way to open doors for our founders as they work to scale their impact. The network is global, you can join it from anywhere and offer your support to all founders or just some of them, and of course, to us at ACTIVA. It takes a village.
